The Swiss Lynx, the rare blooming Lily, add White Asparagus to those things that are rarely sighted. Very popular in parts of Europe, particulary the Netherlands and Germany, White Asparagus is considered to be quite a treat. It is less bitter than the typical green variety, but still high in flavour and vitamins. Simply done with a homemade mayonnaise, it is a great dish.
