Mr. Pichai Expitakdamrong, Director-General, Department of Employment, recently presented The Western Union Foundation Education Grants worth 8,000 Baht each to a hundred school-going children of Thai overseas workers at the office of the Thailand Overseas Employment Administration (TOEA), Dindaeng, Bangkok.
The Western Union Foundation Education Grants is a focused global citizenship initiative of The Western Union Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Western Union Company, to aid migrant families by furthering the education of their children and helping them stay connected, overcome barriers and realize their dreams. The Grants assist migrant families by lessening the financial burden of paying a lump sum for the education of their children.
