In celebration of the collaboration between the Department of Export Promotion and eBay under the “DEP Enhances the Potential of Thai Businesses Through Online Business with eBay” project, Mr. Siripol Yodmuangcharoen (right), Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, visited the eBay booth with Mr. Rachane Potjanasunthorn (center), Director General of the Department of Export Promotion, to congratulate Mr. Oliver Hua (left), Chief Operating Officer, eBay Greater China and Southeast Asia.
The strategic partnership between the two organizations kicked off with a seminar entitled
“E-Commerce Opportunities for Exporters — Enter the World’s Markets Through eBay.” To encourage Thai exporters to start selling successfully on eBay to millions of sellers worldwide, there will also be a waiver of insertion fees for the first 100 eBay listings and selected features and up to 25 percent discount on fees for the first 100 payments received via eBay’s affiliate company, PayPal.
