Krittika Mahattanakul Appointed Head of Asia North Sub region, Nokia Siemens Networks

Bangkok--20 May--Nokia Siemens Networks - Krittika will oversee all operations of the company in the Asia North Sub region which includes Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Korea, Cambodia, & Laos - Krittika was previously Head of Services Sales, Latin America region at Nokia Siemens Networks - Krittika joined Nokia in 1995, and has held several management level positions in the company in various locations Krittika is a veteran in the telecommunications industry with 20 years of international experience. Prior to his current role, he spent two years in the Latin America region where he was Head of Services Sales. Based in Mexico, Krittika was responsible for countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru. During this period, a number of major strategic network expansion wins as well as services contracts were signed, securing Nokia Siemens Networks’ leading position in Latin America. Prior to his move to Latin America, Krittika was Operation Director in the China Mobile Customer Business team (CBT) in China within Nokia Networks. In that role, he was responsible for the South Sub region which included key provinces such as Guangdong, Fujian, Yunnan, Hainan and Hunan. He was instrumental in leading and working with the teams in successfully making several business breakthroughs in Hunan province. Before moving to China, Krittika was based in Bangkok, and held the position of Services Sales Director with responsibilities of Nokia Networks services business in Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, Japan and Korea. In 2004, Krittika was the Services Country Manager for Thailand with Nokia Networks, where he developed a strong local services team to support the company’s business expansion in Thailand and Cambodia. The Asia North position sees Krittika returning to a region and his home country, where he has had extensive experience; deep customer knowledge and relationships. During his previous tenure in this region, he contributed in building Nokia Networks’ local presence in Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh, and secured substantial growth in its business and profitability across the region. In his 14-year career with Nokia Networks and Nokia Siemens Networks, Krittika has an extensive list of achievements. He has also held several senior sales and marketing positions in Scandinavia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Krittika holds a Masters degree in Management and a Bachelor degree in Control Engineering.
