Indigo Pearl Phuket Host TriBallistic & Phuket International Academy Triathlon series 2009 Indigo Pearl Phuket Resort is set to be the venue for the 2nd in a series of four triathlon races for TriBallistic (Phuket Triathlon club) and host sponsor Phuket International Academy.The race will consist of 3 races starting from 08:00hrs Sunday 31st May 2009. The first race will be the Splash and Dash for children aged 5 — 8yrs (Swim 60m, Bike 1.5km, run 800m) race 2 will be the junior race with groups of children aged 8 — 16 yrs (swim 250m, bike 6km, run 2km) and the final race of the day will be for the adults commencing at 09:00hrs (swim 900m, bike 20km, run 7km).There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers for each age group male and female. There is also a team category race in each of the three races.
Free refreshment will be provided on the day and also accommodation discounts for overnight stay, IN-DI-GO Spa service and for the food and beverage at the Indigo Pearl Resort for all athletes.
TriBallistic will be selling sports nutrition and also TriBallistic merchandise on the racing day.
The fund raising 25% of proceeds from the event will be donated towards numerous underprivileged Thai children who participate in a programme to allow them a healthier lifestyle through the avenue of sport.
