Luxury property developer, Raimon Land, continues its support of La F?te in Bangkok after last year’s great success of “Earth from Above” by supporting Thailand’s first monographic exhibition by renowned French photographer, George Rousse, at The River Promenade from 10 June to 5 July.
George Rousse: Photographie, a collection of photographs from the far reaches of the world is open daily to the public from 10am to 6pm, and admission to the exhibition at Raimon Land’s The River high-rise luxury condominium project is free of charge.
French Ambassador to Thailand, HE Laurent Bili, said: “France takes great pride in our contribution to the arts, and we would like to thank Raimon Land for their ongoing support in bringing La F?te events to Thailand, especially to such a stylish venue as The River Promenade to introduce George Rousse to aficionados and the public alike.”
Raimon Land Chief Executive Officer, Hubert Viriot, added that the innovative work of the world-acclaimed photographer matched well with the high integrity of The River project and its contribution to the community.

George Rousse grabbed the art world’s spotlight in 1981, when he debuted his blend of painting, drawing, sculpture and architecture at the Gallery of France in Paris, and he has since held shows throughout Europe and the Americas as well as Japan, South Korea, China and Nepal in Asia.
His photographs are a materialisation of his dreams as well as his relationship with the culture of the country he is visiting. They are a memory of both the places and what he calls his “intervention” in space.
Raimon Land won four awards at the Thailand Property Show 2008: Best Developer, Best Condo Development (Phuket) for The Heights Phuket, Best Condo Development (Eastern Seaboard) for Northpoint and Best Development Website for the second consecutive year for www.theriverbangkok.com.
