AirAsia, the World’s Best Low Cost Airline, and KASIKORNBANK (KBank) today launched the industry’s first co-branded credit card, the AirAsia-KBank Credit Card. Designed for smart and trendy travelers in Thailand, the card offers a wide range of benefits, conveniences and quick redemption of free flights. The card is available starting today.
The co-branded AirAsia-KBank Credit Card marks a major milestone for both AirAsia and KBank, the leading brand in its own industry in Thailand. Created under the “MORE” card concept, this innovative product has been introduced as a step forward to meet the increasing and wide-ranging needs of customers who travel frequently, be it for business or holiday, and opt for hassle-free and enhanced-value travel.
The first-of-its-kind co-branded airline credit card combines the unmatched benefits of AirAsia’s extensive route network with the unique advantages of KBank Credit Card and VISA. AirAsia-KBank Credit Card, in association with VISA, the world's largest retail electronic payments network, offers two types of cards - VISA Classic and VISA Platinum. By utilizing VISA’s strong network, which serves nearly 1.7 billion cards and 30 million merchant outlets, AirAsia-KBank cardholders can now avail of more convenient, secure and reliable payment options.
Cardholders will get special reward points when spending with Thai AirAsia (THB 25 is equivalent to three points)*,and accumulative points can be redeemed for free airline seats to destinations around Asia. For every 2,000 points accumulated, cardholders will receive an E-Gift Voucher rebate valued at THB 200 as well as complimentary Supersize & Save and Pick A Seat vouchers, which allow priority check-in privileges at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Another unique feature of the card is that it provides instant privileges of priority booking to allow guests to grab the best deals of AirAsia sales one day ahead of RedAlert members and the general public.
