The winner of many prestigious awards, Chef Thanida has used her considerable culinary skills to create an enticing menu of divine dishes that will delight lovers of refined Thai cuisine.
The menu includes the delicious laab plamuk bai bua, spicy squid salad with Pennywort leaves, and a piquant yam woonsen nam man nga, glass noodle salad with spinach, carrot, mushrooms and prawns in sesame oil dressing. Both make delightful appetizers or notable accompaniments to other dishes on the outstanding new menu.
A highlight of the extraordinary selection of dishes is the comforting tom klong pla krob, a delicate and smoke spiced soup using dried fish and roast Thai herbs.
Each of Chef Thanida’s creative dishes is beautifully presented providing diners with a visual feast as well as the sensational flavours of traditional Thai cuisine. Her version of pla tub tim thord samonnpai, deep-fried marinated red Tilapia fish with turmeric powder and crispy Thai herbs, is a memorable dish that simply must be tried. An ideal accompaniment to fish is the rich and fragrant gaeng phad ped yang, roasted duck skewers with pineapple, cherry tomato, Thai eggplant and red curry sauce.
basil has an excellent choice of wines available to compliment the inspired cuisine. This includes both international wines as well as the Thai wines which pair well with Thai food.
An intriguing variation on the classic dessert mango and sticky rice is kao niew piek linchee mapro-on, soft sticky rice with lychees, young coconut and coconut milk. It’s a fabulous way to showcase this luscious seasonal fruit and will leave diners in seventh heaven.
