HSBC credit card and The Mall Group Co., Ltd. are supporting a campaign to encourage eco-friendly shopping during The World Environment Day. HSBC cardholders can play their part in going green by simply declining to accept any shopping bag at any participating department store. Through saying ‘No!’ to any shopping bag, cardholders will provide the first leg and catalyst in a campaign which helps grow plants in Buriram Province. An additional privilege for HSBC cardholders, who spend 5,000 baht or more and say ‘No!’ to any shopping bag, is a free HSBC Eco Bag worth 299 baht. The promotion period is valid during 5-7 June 2009 at every branch of The Mall, Emporium and Paragon.
