DusitD2 baraquda pattaya confirms its commitment to combat climate change by switching off electrical devices for one hour every last Tuesday of the month, from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. starting 26 May 2009. Following the recent success of the 28th of March Global 60 Earth Hour, dubbed as the world’s first election between Earth and Global Warming, the hotel will initiate “Earth Friendly Day” a monthly initiative to keep employees and guests constantly reminded about the importance of environmental sustainability.
“While the hotel was full, both guests and employees were incredibly enthusiastic about supporting the movement that we have decided to have an hour dedicated to Mother Earth every month” says Paolo Randone, Guru (General Manager).
In appreciation of their participation, dusitD2 baraquda pattaya will invite all guests to relax at the sunset lounge on the rooftop where a complimentary second drink will be offered during the hour. Guests will also be entitled to all-day 50% discount on any treatment booked at d’spa plus a complimentary second treatment from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
