For April’s Modern Japanese Cuisine promotion at Kisso, Chef Ikeda‘s opted to put his skill to work in creating Zuwai Gani Tempura (deep-fried snow crab tempura), Kani Koura Yaki (baked crab meat and Japanese Jam with creamy sauce in crab shell), Kaisen Nameko Toji Sui (seafood and Nameko mushroom cooked with egg in clear soup), Awabi Torotoro Mushi (steamed abalone with Japanese Yam in sweet soya sauce), Kaki Herb Butter Yaki (Baked Oyster and “konnyaku” jelly with herb butter sauce, Hokke Hiraki (grilled atka mackerel with salt), Karami Lamb Chip Teriyaki (grilled rack of lamb with chilli and teriyaki sauce), Shima Aji Sashimi (Japanese travelly sashimi), and Hire Sake (grilled globe fish in hot “Sake”).
The April’s Modern Japanese Cuisine menu has something for everyone so there’s no reason not to check it out!
