Bangkok--10 Jun--Burapha University Thai Education in coma! Burapha University and PICO organize Educa 2009 during October 15-17, 2009 aiming to produce ‘new species teachers’ for dynamic education. Welcoming international experiences to develop of the whole education system. Boosting private sector to develop innovation in education. Assoc.Prof. Montree Yamkasikorn, Dean of the Faculty of Education, as the chairman of the organizing committee of the International Conference on Education Management Strategy and Educa 2009, conveyed the message about the main objective of this conference that it had been initiated by 16 faculties of education and PICO (Thailand) PCL who see the importance and need for government and private sector roles in helping developing the country’s education as per the National Education Act emphasizing on ‘Active Learning’ which focuses on education management that allows learners to think logically and be happy to learn. Participants are teachers from every level i.e. kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, vocational school, tertiary school and also interested parents. Everyone would have a chance to share their experiences via our workshops of more than 100 activities with our expert advisors for the whole 3 days. Moreover, this conference should also be interesting for education policy makers, executives from academic institutes, and academic leaders as they will get an insight on how the world is doing because several renowned international organizations have accepted our invitation. OECD, an internationally accepted organization working on social and economic statistics, will share their official information from their research. FISA, a Finnish association awarded the world’s best education management in mathematics for 2 consecutive years, will also join this event. Organizing committee chair of Educa 2009 also said that this event allows graduate students to present their related academic papers. Summary of the selected research will be published in the event’s booklet distributed to every participants and will also be used as further academic references. Papers can be submitted via www.educa-iclt.com or at the Faculty of Education, Burapha University until July 31, 2009.
