Bangkok--12 Jun--The Radisson Hotel The Radisson Hotel Bangkok in cooperation with SVA Thailand (Sikkha Asia Foundation) are proud to present the “Tanabata Festival” on 3 - 13 July, 2009 at Nishiki Japanese Restaurant with a portion of the proceeds being donated to support the education of underprivileged children. The official opening to be held on 3 July will be presided over by H. E. Mr. Kyoji KOMACHI, Ambassador of Japan and will feature specialty dishes associated with Tanabata, prepared by Nishiki’s Japanese Chef Mr. Fumio Kato, who has served as a chef to the Japanese Imperial Family. Tanabata Festival is a Japanese tradition wherein people write their wishes on tanzaku papers (colorful, small strips of papers) and hang them on bamboo branches and is customarily celebrated on July 7th. Nishiki Japanese Restaurant open daily for lunch 11.30 — 14.30 hrs. dinner 18.00 — 22.30 hrs. A la carte is also available. Discover superb Japanese dining experience.
