On the 13th June 2009, Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya hosted 35 orphans for their Rockin’ Experiences as our mottoes “Take time to be kind” - “Kids wanna rock” and beach cleaning activities “Save the planet” to give back to communities and celebrate the Hard Rock Cafe Founder’s Day 14th June 2009.
The first Hard Rock Cafe (HRC) opened its doors to the public on June 14, 1971 , in London, England. Founded by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, two enterprising and music-loving Americans, HRC was an instant classic, attracting droves of customers with its first-rate, but moderately priced casual American fare, warm service and ever-present rock 'n' roll music and sensibility.
The day start from “Kids wanna Rock” with all Hard Rock Band Member’s leading by Laurent Levraud, Hard Rock Cafe Manager welcoming the 35 orphans(kids from the construction working site) to their first experience of Hard Rock, Beaches and pool activities. Lunch start at 12.30 p.m. with the kid’s favorite menu at Hard Rock Cafe “The Mezz”.
At 3.00 p.m. All Band Members from Hard Rock Hotel/Cafe Pattaya and the kids gathering at the beach road and getting ready to clean the Beach. The Opening Ceremony start with a speech from Mr. George Hazard, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya and then he sawed the golden ribbon to let the Beach cleaning begins.
The Beach Cleaning Area is from the Tropicana Hotel to the end of the Pattaya Klang road. This is also one of our mottos which is “Save the Planet” The amount of garbage founded is enormous and very varieties from a very Big Plastic bag, condoms to a bottle of beer.
Later on…after the beach is clean we take a memorable Group photo and leading the Kids to the Hard Rock pool to join our Rockin’ Activities and games.
After a Fun day… it’s time again for dinner at the Mezz hosted by Hard Rock Cafe, before sending the kids back to Bangkok. Leaving everyone with a good feeling and memories of the Best Founder’s Day Celebration ever.
