The Rinkaijis are a well-to-do family. The father,Nariyuki,works in an elite company. His wife Yoshiko, who is a firm believer in the status quo, finds her world falling apart when Nariyuki quits his job and her daughter, Sugina secretly stops going to school, Nariyuki decides to start his own company with Sugina. Their first project doesn’t go very well due to Nariyuki’s inexperience, but finally, the company succeeds and becomes a major corporation, and Sugina grows to be a powerful businesswoman.

ครอบครัวรินไคจิเป็นครอบครัวฐานะดี นาริยูกิ ผู้เป็นหัวหน้าครอบครัวทำงานในบริษัทใหญ่โต แต่โยชิโกะ ภรรยาผู้เป็นคนนิยมงานในบริษัทพบว่าโลกของเธอกำลังถล่มทลายเพราะสามีลาออกจากงาน อีกทั้งซึงินะ ลูกสาวก็แอบลาออกจากโรงเรียนด้วย นาริยูกิตัดสินใจเปิดบริษัทร่วมกับซึงินะ ทว่างานชิ้นแรกไปได้ไม่ค่อยดีนักเนื่องจากเขายังขาดประสบการณ์ แต่ในที่สุดพวกเขาก็ตั้งตัวได้ ซึงินะเติบโตขึ้นและกลายเป็นนักธุรกิจไฟแรง

Fri 10 July : Musashino High Voltage Towers
The story of Miharu’s adventure of surveying the Musashino High Voltage Towers. Miharu sets off with Akira on a quest to find the source of the power lines that pass by his house. The images of nature in the film, accompanied by ethereal music, underline its nostalgia for a simpler time when boys could play in field rather than in computer arcades. The source novel of the same title won the 6th Japan Fantasy Novel prize.

This film focuses on the relationship between Karin and Takada Saburo, whose nickname is “Matasaburo of the Wind.” It is based on the story “Misty Kid of the Wind” by poet and novelist Miyazawa Kenji.

มาซาโอะเด็กนักเรียนชั้นป.3 ไม่มีอะไรทำตอนปิดเทอม จึงเกิดความคิดที่จะเดินทางผจญภัยไปยังจังหวัดไอจิเพื่อไปหาแม่โดยมีขิคุจิโร่ชายผู้ไม่มีงานทำเป็นชิ้นเป็นอันเดินทางไปเป็นเพื่อน พวกเขาได้พบเหตุการณ์ต่าง ๆ มากมาย ผจญสุขและทุกข์ด้วยกัน จนในที่สุดก็พบว่าแม่ของมาซาโอะได้ย้ายบ้านไปเสียแล้ว วันหยุดฤดูร้อนจบลงพร้อมกับที่ทั้งคู่ต้องลาจากกัน
