The newest and most eye-catching of MSI line-up for Commart 2009 is the slim, aesthetic and stylish X-Slim series based on the latest Intel CULV platform. X-Slim embraces a simple and modern design concept and meanwhile features the most advanced multimedia and power saving technology.
Being entitled world’s lightest and lightest 13” notebook since its debut in CES January 2009, MSI X340 is 6 mm at its thinnest and 20 mm at its widest, weighing 1.3 kilograms with battery.
The X340 has 13” LCD display as oppose to 12” or even smaller sizes. This provides more comfort in reading and operation as well as less weight restraints compared to the 14” models.
The 16:9 theater ratio provides larger visual area. When watching movies, the black bars on the top and bottom of the 16:10 aspect ratio screen will also be avoided. This is perfect for playing HD videos at any possible angle, ideal for visual enjoyment.

When the X400 was first unveiled, it immediately attracted media acclaim and became the most talked about next-generation notebook model. The two basic colors are Imperial Black and Pearl White plus three different kinds of colored trim.
