Lufthansa’s passengers departing from Suvarnabhumi Airport can now check in online with a wide range of new options. If passengers are travelling with hand luggage only, passengers can proceed directly to immigration with your printed online boarding pass, enabling passengers to board the aircraft directly. For additional baggage, passenger can just go to the baggage drop-off counter. This is a special check-in counter where passengers show their boarding pass and then check in their suitcases. This counter is especially meant for the quick processing of baggage from those who have already checked in online; for this reason, it accepts no other requests.
Online check-in can be made as early as 23 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure, and you can choose your seat at the same time — from home, work, or wherever you are online. With the aid of Lufthansa’s innovative feature, passengers can select seats for all the passengers in their party, and for every leg of their journey in one-single check-in procedure. Once passengers have selected seats for all the passengers and all the routes, passengers will receive their check-in information and boarding pass. They then can print out their own boarding pass - an “online boarding pass”.
Lufthansa operates daily flights between Bangkok and Frankfurt, three a week of which continue to Ho Chi Minh City, and four a week to Kuala Lumpur. These flights make Lufthansa the leading European airline serving the region with the most connections to and from Europe and to two other major cities in the region.
