The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has hired Premier Technology PCL to provide Live Opportunity Day Webcast. The broadcast of listed firms’ operating performances for Q2 and Q3/2009 through www.set.or.th will increase the number of access channels for analysts and investors.
This live broadcast will cover all users in a fast and equal way. It supports listed firms having high potential in technology and develops their investor relations function. Our test, broadcasting 24 listed firms’ presentations, shows that there was over 1,700 visits after the test, or a three-fold rise comparing to the regular participation of analysts and investors, SET Group Head, Issuer & Listing Chanitr Charnchainarong.
This service, using information technology to distribute information through SET’s electronic network, is a good start in developing services that are useful for listed companies and information users. It also supports SET activities as well, said Premier Technology PCL Managing Director Viwat Phongsathorn.
Participants in the live broadcast through www.set.or.th/oppday can ask or answer questions, as if they were face-to-face. Users can also view past events. The broadcasts will present information on over 30 listed firms each quarter. Q2/2009’s operating performance will be broadcast during August 17-30 and that for Q3/2009 during November 16-27.
