Mr.Kamchorn Sathirakul, chairman of TISCO Foundation for Charity by TISCO Bank Plc. presented souvenir to Dr. Kunying Kasama Worawan Na Ayutthaya,, Secretary General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC). Recently held its annual scholarship presentation ceremony to needy students at the Government Public Relations Department. Also attending the ceremony were Pliu Mangkornkanok and Mr. Suthas Ruangmanamongkol senior management of TISCO.
In 2009, about 6,000 scholarships worth 19 million baht, was granted to needy students at all educational levels.
TISCO Foundation for Charity was established in 1982 by the TISCO Group to provide supports to the underprivileged to be able to help themselves sustain their long-term living. Its main objective is to provide educational support to needy students. Until now, the Foundation granted around 160 million baht scholarships to 50,000 students at all educational levels nationwide.
