Bangkok--30 Jul--Standard & Poor's
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services corrected and reinstated its long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Berkeley Unified School District, Calif.'s series 1992 series G (issued in 1998) general obligation bonds to 'A+'. The outlook is stable. The bonds are also guaranteed by a bond insurance policy from Financial Guaranty Insurance Company and reinsured by National Municipal Public Finance Guarantee Corp. (A/Developing). On July 23, 2008, we inadvertently withdrew the rating due to a clerical error. For more information on the district, please see the report, "Berkeley Unified School District, California; General Obligation," published May 12, 2009, on RatingsDirect.
