Mr. Smith Pirunsarn (third from left), Thai Airways International’s Managing Director, Catering Department, recently received an award on behalf of THAI’s Catering Department for Best Caterer of 2008 from Mr. Ray H.N. Pi (third from right), General Manager, Thailand Branch, China Airline. The Award was presented to the Catering Department in appreciation of its efforts and excellent service in providing Catering services to China Airline. Currently, THAI Catering produces more than 700,000 meals per year for China Airlines from its kitchen at THAI’s Catering Department, Suvarnabhumi Airport and is the third largest catering provider for China Airlines from 39 caterers worldwide.
