Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Minister of Science and Technology (left) presents the 300,000 baht cash prize and a trophy to Khenchai team members, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), the winning team in Thailand Intelligent Vehicle Challenge 2009.
The Thai Robotics Society has partnered with the Department of Mechatronics, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) with the sponsorship from Seagate Technology (Thailand) Limited in holding the Thailand Intelligent Vehicle Challenge since the year 2007. The contest has been held for the 3rd consecutive years. It aims at encouraging Thai university students to develop their skills in various fields such as science, engineering, computer combined with automotive technology and come up with the unmanned intelligent car that moves in the predetermined route at the fastest and the longest distance.
