Bangkok--4 Aug--Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa
Antonio Facchinetti, the renowned chef at Brio, takes diners on an unforgettable journey through history’s cookery books in August 2009 with a special menu that pays homage to the finest culinary traditions of 16th Century Florence. This extraordinary culinary event is named after Leonardo Da Vinci, the legendary Renaissance painter and scientist who was born in Florence in 1452.
The Da Vinci menu includes Zuppa di Pancotto con Semi di Finocchio (Thick bread and fennel soup); Quinquinelli (Deep fried ravioli filled with veal, fresh farm cheese and almond); Lucci Ripieni (Roasted sea bass served with sole, river prawns, saffron and sage); Pollo in Agresto (Chicken roasted with pancetta and grapes); Cinghiale alla Menta (Slow braised wild boar with mint); and Peposo alla Fornacina dell’ Impruneta (Beef braised in Chianti wine and crushed black peppercorns).
So let Antonio be your guide as you embark on a journey of discovery around the food of his ancestors. Buonissimo!
