Bangkok--10 Aug--Indigo Pearl Resort
(Phuket, August 2009) Indigo Pearl Resort with the cooperation of the Phuket Vocational College held the ‘Vocational College’s Hospitality Skill Development Seminar’ with the mission to reach the standards of teaching ability in each hotel and hospitality areas. That is, by enhancing the quality of local education on both the practical and theoretical knowledge. This project continued for 6 days (25-30 July) and the rotation of all the teachers were distributed to the majority of the resort departments; Front Office, Kitchen, Food & Beverage and Housekeeping. The teaching program was held under the topic of “Expanding Your Horizon” with an audience of over 42 teachers from various Vocational Colleges in Thailand.
The concept of this project was founded by Khun Wichit Na Ranong, Managing Director and owner of Indigo Pearl Resort for over 20 years. The Vocational College Teacher Committee selected Indigo Pearl Hotel as the first and only alternative for this project to take place at.
