Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced the legacy Powerware? and MGE Office Protection Systems? branded products will now marketed under the Eaton brand. The transition this month is part of a global process to strengthen Eaton’s identity as a leading provider of power protection, distribution and management worldwide.
As part of the transition, the Powerware? and MGE Office Protection Systems? legacy brands will become known as the Powerware and Pulsar series, respectively. Consolidating the two legacy series under the overall Eaton brand will enlarge the company’s product portfolio to better meet customers’ needs. The effort will also help Eaton simplify brand management and reduce operational complexity. Additionally, it will allow Eaton to leverage marketing opportunities more efficiently to improve visibility and increase competitiveness.
“Eaton is currently the biggest provider of power protection, distribution and management solutions in many countries, and the second largest player globally. Despite this, we are not fully recognized as Eaton in all of our markets as some partners and customers still refer to us via these two legacy brands. Now is the time to build awareness around one single Eaton brand,” said Hoong Kuan Yin, sales director for Eaton’s South East Asia region.
In the future, Eaton plans to integrate different industry-leading technologies into new products to provide customers with the most efficient solutions and services available.
