Bangkok--14 Aug--The Conrad ฺBangkok Cantonese Mooncakes are at their most popular and delicious during the mid-autumn celebrations. Chinese Master Chef Wong Kam-Yau of The Conrad Bangkok will delicately prepare his mooncakes using only the highest quality ingredients and then they will be freshly baked each day and on sale from 15 August — 3 October 2009. Eight traditional and ‘East meets West’ flavors are Golden Custard, Red Bean, Light Lotus Seed, Classic Durian, Mixed Five Nuts, Chestnut, Chinese jujube and Chocolate. Cantonese Mooncakes are available in various sizes. Prices range from Baht 289 to 570 per box. Moreover, luxury mooncakes with deluxe gift and golden gift box are also available from Baht 720 to 1,500 per box. 15% discount applies to early bird orders before 15 September 2009. Orders can be made at Liu, Chinese Restaurant, on the hotel’s 3rd Floor and Deli by Conrad, 2nd Floor in All Seasons Retail Center from 15 August - 3 October 2009 or can be conveniently purchased from Siam Paragon, The Emporium Shopping Complex, Central Chidlom, and CRC. Additionally, Chinese Chef Wong Kam-Yau will conduct mooncake cooking class. The class will be held on Saturday 19th September 2009, 10:00-12:00hrs., including lunch and certificate.
