Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Limited will host its annual conference in Bangkok on Monday 31 August 2009 from 8.15am to 12.00pm. The event will focus on the global financial crisis, as well as the economic and political risks faced by Thailand and the outlook for the country's major banks and corporations.
Thailand's Deputy Minister of Finance, Pradit Phataraprasit, will provide the opening address at the conference.
James McCormack, Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific Sovereign, will discuss the prospects for a global and regional recovery and the economic outlook for Thailand. David Marshall, Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific Bank Group, will present his views on the impact of the global financial crisis and the outlook for Asian banking systems.
Vincent Milton, Managing Director of Fitch Ratings Thailand & Senior Director of Financial Institutions and Lertchai Kochareonrattanakul, Senior Director of Corporates will discuss the performance and outlook for the major local banks and corporations.
