Widely-acclaimed as a source of high-quality food ingredients, Southeast Asia is expected to shortly emerge as a key player in the global food and food ingredients industry. As such, Food Ingredients Asia 2009 (Fi Asia 2009), will play a significant role in stimulating the industry throughout the region.
Bringing together over 300 leading food and food ingredient manufacturers from across Asia to present their latest products, innovations and food-processing technologies, the event will give participants from around the world the opportunity to meet new business partners and expand their markets. Parallel to Fi Asia 2009, the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT) will host “FoSTAT Food Ingredients Asia Conference 2009”. A host of hot topics will be addressed, including ingredients that promote good health and the latest technological advancements in food processing , scheduled for September 10-11, 2009.
ในอนาคต ภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้จะมีความสำคัญต่ออุตสาหกรรมอาหารและส่วนผสมอาหาร เพราะเป็นแหล่งส่วนผสมอาหารที่มีคุณภาพดี ดังนั้น งาน Food Ingredients Asia 2009 (Fi Asia 2009) งานแสดงสินค้าด้านอาหารและส่วนผสมอาหารในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จึงมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อตลาดอาหารในภูมิภาคนี้ โดยรวบรวมผู้ประกอบการด้านอาหารจากทั่วภูมิภาคเอเชีย
พบผู้ประกอบการกว่า 300 รายที่มาร่วมแสดงสินค้า นวัตกรรมด้านส่วนผสมอาหาร และการแปรรูปอาหาร ซึ่งเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานจากทั่วโลกได้พบปะกับผู้ประกอบการโดยตรง เพื่อเป็นการจับคู่และสร้างเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจ นอกจากนี้ สมาคมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีทางอาหารแห่งประเทศไทย (FoSTAT) ได้จัดงานประชุม “FoSTAT Food Ingredients Asia Conference 2009” เพื่ออภิปรายเรื่องส่วนผสมอาหารในการเสริมสร้างสุขภาพดี รวมทั้งความก้าวหน้าล่าสุดด้านเทคโนโลยีทางอาหาร โดยการสัมมนาจะจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 10-11 กันยายน 2552
