FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), today announced its sponsorship of the Bangkok International Film Festival (BKKIFF) to be held in Bangkok from September 24-30, 2009.
In addition to being a cash and in-kind sponsor, FedEx Thailand will be the official carrier of the event, responsible for the inbound and outbound shipment and customs clearance of approximately 100 films from about 30 countries.

During the festival, FedEx Thailand will celebrate the occasion with a special customer event, “Walk the Purple Carpet with FedEx”, featuring a special appearance by Thai actor Chakrit Yamnam.
