FedEx Extends Helping Hand Across Asia Pacific During Annual “FedEx Cares Week” Program Expanded to Reach More Local Communities in Eleven Markets
FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, recently kicked off FedEx Cares Week, its annual week of service to benefit local communities.
Following the program’s inaugural success in the region last year, FedEx Cares Week expands its footprint this year with 32 initiatives to benefit 29 cities in eleven Asia Pacific markets. More than 530 FedEx team members from Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam will dedicate their time and collaborative efforts towards a variety of community projects, ranging from promoting environmental awareness through coastal clean up, elderly home visits, and book drives for underprivileged children to inculcating life skills, such as road safety and evacuation training in mountainous regions in China.
