The “Towards a Digitized Cloud Nation” conference held to enhance Public Sector efficiency through Cloud Computing

Education is the largest governmental segment in terms of IT spending, accounting for an estimated 33% of the total; while defense & public safety and taxation & finance are the number two and three segments. Within IT, hardware accounts for over 60% of all spending, followed by IT services and lastly software.
HP has collaborated with Springboard Research to organize the “Towards a Digitized Cloud Nation” conference that is focused on exploring how the public sector can harness the power of ‘cloud computing’ and other advanced technologies to increase service efficiency and effectiveness and ultimately facilitate the movement toward national transformation. This conference brought together IT managers and senior leaders from healthcare, education and government organizations in Thailand’s with a panel of leading IT experts from Asia and around the world.
During the conference HP showcased a wide range of its public sector solutions for Healthcare, Defense, Intelligence and Public Safety, E-Government and Education, which have been deployed in several nations to help governments deliver better services to their citizens.
