Contribution reinforces FedEx’s commitment to assist disadvantaged children throughout Thailand
David Carden, managing director of FedEx Thailand and Indochina, recently joined 30 FedEx volunteers in visiting the Duang Prateep Foundation to present art and school material donations to over 100 students as well as engage the children in a range of fun games, dancing and inspiring presentations.
This initiative is part of FedEx Express’ annual FedEx Cares Week program in which more than 3,000 FedEx volunteers around the world donate their time and talent to serve a range of local organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities they serve.
“Our employees’ willingness and passion to make our community a better place to work, live and play is truly amazing. It has been a very rewarding experience to be able to reach out to the remarkable Khun Prateep and the children at this school while actively promoting volunteerism among our people,” said Mr. Carden.

“We will continue to build on a culture of charitable giving and volunteerism that has been the hallmark of our company for decades,” added Mr. Carden.
