Mr. Boontuck Wungcharoen, CEO of TMB Bank Public Company Limited, recently appointed Mr. Jumpon Saimala as Executive Vice President — Head of Wealth Management Group.
Mr. Jumpon’s responsibilities include supervising the sales, client services, product management and overall strategic planning of several business lines that related to investment products for individual clients, including Mutual Fund business, Bancassurance business, Private Banking business and Affluent Segmentation Relationship Management business.
Mr. Boontuck said, “The appointment of Mr. Jumpon is in line with TMB’s strategic focus in building a strong retail banking business leveraging TMB’s wide customer base, cooperation with strategic business partners and financial products which suit customer needs. Khun Jumpon brings with him the industry knowledge and a wealth of experiences in investment management to lead our efforts in tapping onto the affluent market segment.”
Prior to joining TMB, Mr. Jumpon worked for ING Funds (Thailand) Co., Ltd as Head of Mutual Fund and Investment Consulting for almost a decade. Before that he had working experiences with other leading financial institutions in a number of investment management roles such as investment banking and equity sales in Thailand for over 7 years.
Jumpon holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Thammasat University.
