David Carden, managing director of FedEx Thailand and Indochina, recently participated in the launch ceremonies for the Bangkok International Film Festival 2009 (BKKIFF 2009). FedEx is an official sponsor and the official carrier for the festival, which will attract some of the biggest stars in the film industry and showcase over 80 movies from around the world.
FedEx’s sponsorship of the BKKIFF 2009 follows several recent film festival sponsorships that were successfully undertaken in other Asia-Pacific markets including the Sydney Film Festival in Australia, and the upcoming Pusan film festival in Pusan, South Korea.
