KTC launched offensive campaign with CPN, a major operator of shopping centers with more than 30 leading partners to offer the 1st privilege to KTC credit card members only, by focusing on the easy and cost-effective use of KTC Forever Rewards points. KTC members can redeem the KTC Forever Rewards points as cash to pay for any merchandises or services and to receive the maximum of 20% discount or other privileges while paying via KTC credit cards at all branches of Central Plaza nationwide and Central Festival Pattaya Beach. The campaign will start from 1 October 2009 to 3 February 2010 with expectation to boost the KTC credit card spending up at least 15%.
Mr. Woravut Nisapakulthorn, Executive Vice President - Partnership Marketing, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited said, “KTC has conducted a research on spending behavior of KTC card members in the past 9 months and found that during the period of economic slowdown, members have chosen to buy only the merchandises or services on promotion and those that give more KTC Forever Rewards and E-Voucher which they can use as cash in leading department stores such as Central, Zen or Robinson. These are why KTC decided to join hands with “CPN” or Central Patana Public Company Limited, the operator of Thailand’s 14 largest department stores nationwide. The purpose is to expand the scope of our KTC Forever Rewards points for cash exchanging service and to provide other privileges in response to the needs of our members as much as possible.”
“This joint campaign with CPN is to give more privileges to KTC and CPN customers at 14 leading shopping centers such as Central Plaza Pinklao, Central Plaza Laadprao, Central Plaza Bangna, Central Plaza Rama 2, Central Plaza Rama 3, Central Plaza Ramindra, Central Plaza Rattanathibet, Central Plaza Chiangmai Airport, Central Plaza Chaengwattana, Central Plaza Udonthani, Central Plaza Chonburi, Central Center Pattaya, Central Festival Pattaya Beach and Central Plaza Khon Kaen, to be opened on December 2009.”
“KTC and CPN offer many privileges to members who spend via KTC credit cards at these shopping centers as follows:
1. Redeem KTC Forever Rewards Points for Cash in more than 30 leading partner outlets.
KTC members can redeem 1,000 KTC Forever Rewards points in place of 100 Baht cash to pay for merchandises or services at more than 30 leading outlets in all branches of Central Plaza and Central Festival Pattaya Beach from 1 October 2009 to 3 February 2010.
2. Get additional 20% discount or further privileges.
When the members pay for merchandises or services through KTC credit card in leading outlets in the shopping center from 1 October 2009 to 3 February 2010.
3. Get 3 more privileges when spending through KTC credit card during the “Central Plaza Triple Pleasure Campaign” during 1 October 2009 to 25 November 2009 at all Central Plaza nationwide.
- Receive triple 3 happy discount coupons and a special privilege from outlets inside the shopping centers in the categories of Dining and Shopping when the members pay for merchandises or services by KTC credit cards at the outlets inside the shopping centers.
- Get a free AXE Spray worth 74 Baht or Rexona Dry Stick worth 63 Baht when the member spent 1,000 Baht or up via KTC credit cards on merchandises or services per 1 sales slip.
- Get free triple 3 reward points or mileage when the member spent 10,000 Baht or up via KTC credit cards on merchandises and services.
