Adirek Sripratak, President and CEO of Charoen Pokphand Foods (PLC) or CPF said a natural disaster in Istanbul, Turkey last month caused the devastation to many industries including chicken business. At the same time, the country is the chicken exporter to Iraq, causing the shortage and higher price of chicken meat.
However, CPF invested in chicken integration in Turkey, has received no effect from the disasters, since the business is located in suburb area, not in Istanbul. This year, the company expects continued growth from the high chicken meat demand.
CPF in Turkey will be one of the factors which help company an outstanding growth since CPF invested 100% in Turkey.
