Microsoft Thailand is throwing a launch party to celebrate the arrival of Windows 7 on 31st October and Sunday 1st November at Fashion Hall, Siam Paragon, where members of the public who join will be among the first lucky people to get a close-up look and feel of Windows 7 - the operating system which makes it easier for people to do the things they want on a PC.
Highlights of the event, which opens its doors at 10 am, include a Windows 7 experience and demonstration tour, official opening ceremony at 16.00 pm and a concert by the popular pop singer ‘Stamp’ on the afternoon of 31st October. TV personalities Koy Ratchawin and Paul Pataraporn will host this fun event that will also give members of the Thai public the chance to buy Windows 7 as part of a special launch promotion.
In order to enter the Windows 7 promotion - provided by IT City - people are advised to register at www.windows7thailand.com before midnight on 28th October. By doing so, they will be able to pay for and collect their copies of Windows 7, Home Premium Edition for 3,777 baht (excluding VAT) at the launch event on Sunday, 1 November 2009.
Those who would like to be included in the special 3,777 Baht promotion provided by IT City, but are unable to register in time online, can visit the Windows 7 launch event in person to book the Windows 7 Home Premium Edition for the special price of 3,777 baht. They will then be able to pay for and collect Windows 7 at a later date from listed IT shops.
