TMB Bank Public Company Limited announced the appointment of Mrs. Saowanee Kamolbutr, currently a Board member, as Chairperson of the Board of Directors effective from 18 December 2009.

Mrs. Saowanee, 57, attended Thammasat University and graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Political Science. She also received high-level executive training courses at a number of reputable institutions and has served in the Ministry of Finance her entire working career, holding a number of key positions, including Head of the Special Task Force on “Good Service for Tax Payers”, Head of the Revenue Department’s Reengineering Team, Deputy Director-General of the Revenue Department, and Ministry of Finance Inspector-General. Currently, she is a Ministry of Finance Deputy Permanent Secretary.
