Bangkok--21 Dec--Aziam Burson-Marsteller Low fares airline Jetstar has announced partnerships with Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP) and Diners Club International that will provide Jetstar customers in Australia and key Southeast Asia markets such as Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam with new choices in how they pay for their travel. Through its new agreement with UATP corporate customers can now purchase their every day low Jetstar fares with any UATP issued card, one of the most widely-used and popular card payment options for corporate travel buyers throughout the Asia Pacific region. Jetstar brands (Jetstar, Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Pacific) also now accept payment via Diners Club International cards. UATP and Diners Club International payment methods are particularly popular with businesses and corporate travellers and represent further expansion of Jetstar’s distribution channels. Jetstar Executive Manager Commercial David Koczkar said the new initiatives reflected the airline’s continued focus on offering value-for-money travel combined with choices across the Jetstar brands. “UATP and Diners Club International payment options enhance the already extensive payment options that Jetstar offers its customers,” Mr Koczkar said. “This is a value-add for consumers which increases Jetstar’s relevance for frequent flyers around our growing network of more than 50 destinations. “In particular, these new payment options have the potential to attract and expand our growing corporate client base even further,” Mr Koczkar said.
