“We move temple here at 7-Eleven” Light on Enlightenment for New Year by “Being 24-hour Happy”
Nowadays our society has been changed so rapidly that many people could not cope with and end up living in unhappy life when beset by so many problems. But if we lead our life based on Dharma, our life solutions will always be the consciousness-based that allow us to live in peace and harmony with ourselves and also with all others.
CP All Public Co., Ltd., the operator of 7-Eleven in Thailand by Mr. Korsak Chairassameesak, Executive Chairman, delivered dharma as a New Year Gift to all Thai by Dharma Project so called “We move temple here at 7-Eleven” (โครงการ “เรายกวัดมาไว้ที่เซเว่นฯ”) held every noon on Friday, invited the famous monk “Pra Maha Sompong Tanputto” from Soithong Temple, initiator of Dharma Delivery and slogan “Let’s be happy”, as a guest speaker for dharma inspiration talk in art of living entitled “Being 24-hour Happy”. The Buddhists in all ages joined the session and went back home in smiling face at C.P. Tower on Silom Road.
Pra Maha Sompong Tanputto brought heavy problems and current situations onto a dharma talk in easy-listening style with so easy solutions that anyone can do. “These days Thai people are suffering with stress related diseases. I suggest you to look at it in the way how much fun it is? Live positively everyday, every hour. Apply dharma on every crisis. Someone applied dharma onto his life after the first visit to temple; his life has been changed in many better ways. Try to tune your thinking process into Buddhism that nothing is for sure; today is good, tomorrow is bad, so everything is possible. Remember that life suffering is common but it is not for us to carry. Everything happens for a reason; therefore we have to get rid at the cause of it. When there is no suffering, there is no social problem. Life will be in peace. Problem solutions under the way of Ariyasat 4 (อริยสัจ 4), sacrifice, or even positive thinking, are never out. That’s why dharma can solve every crisis.
On the occasion of the New Year 2010, please be reminded to live a conscious life, follow the philosophy of “Sufficiency Economy” conferred by our King Bhumibol, then we will be happy every day and month from now on. For some problems, if we have a chance to discuss for the best solution that is the true meaning of unity which is not only physical unity but also spiritual and brain-storming on dharma-based. Try to smile and laugh more to bring happiness into your life. Whenever you are moody, you get loss. Hence, bring life a profit by smiling and laughing more. May Buddha bless you”.
