EXIM Thailand Appoints New First Vice President for Legal Affairs

Bangkok--30 Dec--EXIM Thailand EXIM Thailand appointed Mr. Senut Chavana as First Vice President of Office of Legal Affairs, effective on January 1, 2010. Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) appointed Mr. Senut Chavana as First Vice President in charge of EXIM Thailand’s Office of Legal Affairs which engages in legal consulting, contract preparation and review of the Bank’s legal documents. The office also oversees the Bank’s general operations and business practices in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, publicizes relevant legal information and coordinate with internal and external parties on legal matters. The appointment became effective on December 1, 2009. Mr. Senut obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Laws from Southern Methodist University, U.S.A. He has extensive experience in legal counseling at Anek & Associates International Legal Consultants, Baker & McKenzie Limited and Credit Agricole Indosuez Bank Limited. His last post before joining EXIM Thailand was Vice President of Corporate Legal Department, United Overseas Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited.
