We are honoured to invite you or your representative to join the “Delicious Taste of Japan” launch event on January 20th, 2010. This event is organized by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan and supported by the Embassy of Japan in Thailand and JETRO Bangkok centre. Spokesperson will be First secretary, Mr. Mizoguchi, from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand.
Following on from the success of last year’s food promotion events, The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan is once again holding a PR event in Bangkok to further promote Japanese food products outside of Japan, and raise awareness of seasonal produce and cooking.
With its focus on freshness and seasonality, Japanese cuisine and cooking have been enjoying immense popularity around the world, including Southeast Asia, as part of a healthy lifestyle. Japan has achieved prominence in agricultural production, via production technology developed to a level of excellence over a long history, and the people of Japan are rightly proud of their seasonal produce.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan is aiming to increase the export of Japanese food products to overseas. The purpose of this event has two aspects, it gives chance to introduce the fine food products for Japanese food producers, and for the buyers to get the opportunity to taste and find the finest Japanese food products.
