Delayed Broadcast in Thailand on 23 January at 7PM. Make your donation to Oxfam, Red Cross and UNICEF in Asia to support relief efforts in Haiti
In response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti, National Geographic Channel is bringing “Hope for Haiti Now," a two-hour global earthquake relief telethon, to Asia for a commercial-free delayed broadcast in Thailand, Southeast Asia and Taiwan on 23 and 24 January. As part of National Geographic Channel’s global effort to support this charitable event through its worldwide channel network, “Hope for Haiti Now” will broadcast on National Geographic Channel in Thailand at 7pm and Southeast Asia at 8pm (HK/SIN) on Saturday, 23 January; followed by Taiwan at 1pm, on Sunday, 24 January.
Viewers can help victims of the Haiti earthquake by making a donation directly to the Asian arm of the international aid agency of their choice, such as Oxfam, Red Cross or UNICEF. Local donation details will be shown during the broadcast.

Screening live at 8pm on 22 January in the US, “Hope for Haiti Now” is set to be the world’s most widely distributed telethon, both internationally and across media platforms, and will be led by George Clooney in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean in New York City and CNN’s Anderson Cooper from Haiti. It will feature musical performances, celebrity appearances, and live news reports from CNN. “Hope for Haiti Now” will be produced by Joel Gallen, Tenth Planet Productions, in collaboration with George Clooney.
