Roger Deacon, Chief Distribution Officer of Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance revealed that the company has recently opened Krungthai-AXA Academy in Southern region locating in Had Yai, Songkhla province as the company’s long term commitment to the development of distribution channel, business expansion as well as upgrading the quality service to customers.
“Southern region is one of the most potential area which life insurance business has been growing rapidly and Had Yai, Songkhla is one of the key provinces of Southern region. Recently production has come from this region or 25% of first year premium income follow by central, Bangkok, and Northeastern region as 24% and 18% respectively.” (data as of December 2009)
Krungthai-AXA Academy is an essential part of company’s strategy under Thailand Agency Blueprint (TAB) value proposition; best career, best compensation, and best support. These regional academies will not only help building high quality sale force of our three distribution channels, agency, bancassurance and alternative distribution, but will also strengthen our commitment to all saleforce that company will be a part of career building and fully support them, said Roger.
Besides the objectives in development of distribution channels in Southern region, the company aims that this Southern Academy will be the center of three major social and company’s contributions: career opportunity, recruitment, and training & development. This regional academy will also help maximizing sale growth as well as increasing the active agent ratio due to better quality sales and activity management training provided by Krungthai-AXA Academy. This will enable Krungthai AXA Life to become the preferred company of its agents to work with and customers to buy from high quality and professional agents.
Beyond this Southern academy, the company also plans to open the similar style of academy in Chiang Mai lately this year which will be built in the same identity to headquarter office and other academies. The company has invested approximately 20 million baht for these 4 company’s academies.
Uqkrit Sridaromont, Chief Training Officer added that this year the company projects to increase the number of trainers to 60 trainers to manage the manpower growth nationwide as well as provide best support to enhance distributor’s knowledge and skills to succeed in their career.
“Last year, the company already doubled up the number of trainer from 20 to 40 trainers. Also, many training programs have been developed and provided for new agents, financial advisors, and managers through experienced and qualified trainers, said Uqkrit.”
