Mr. Chatchai Payuhanaveechai and Mr. Silawat Santivisat, First Senior Vice Presidents, KASIKORNBANK, Mr. Petter Pedersen, Senior Vice President, Head of International Business Division, Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (dtac) together with Mr. Wansadet Thavornsuk, Deputy Governor for The Domestic Market of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) jointly introduced “Happy Holiday SIM,” the prepaid SIM card specially customized to serve foreign tourist needs. with the aim to promote Thailand tourism industry. The “Happy Holiday SIM” is free for any foreign tourist when exchange money worth at least USD 500 (or equivalent to) to Thai Baht at 82 participating K-Currency Exchange booths nationwide from today until 30 April 2010.
With this SIM card, any local calls made within dtac network between 11 pm and 5 pm will be charged 55 satang. Foreign tourists can also enjoy international calls with our International Direct Dial (IDD) with promotional rate at 4 Baht per minute. The SIM card can also be used to connect to the Internet through notebook, netbook or aircard.
