KTC makes the move to assure long-term loyalty of KTC CASH Revolve members. ‘Make Light the Load’, a completed option of both Points for Installment Rebate and Points for Interest Privilege.
Sudaporn Janwatanagool, Executive Vice President for Personal Loans Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, reveals on the firm’s marketing strategy for 2010 “We have been offering the KTC CASH Revolve since 2006. The portfolio of quality members has grown to around 450,000 accounts due to great benefits offered, including that we are the first in the industry to give rewards points for privilege redemptions. From the study we have conducted, we have found that members still want to use the points in other ways. That is why, in this year, we are helping them to lessen their burdens with industry-leading privileges. The move will assure long-term loyalty in the long run as well.”
“For this first quarter, KTC is initiating the ‘Make Light the Load’ campaign allowing KTC CASH Revolve members to use KTC Forever Rewards points in two ways. Firstly, Points for Installment Rebate, where members can use 500 points in place of 50 Baht cash, credited back to their accounts. Secondly, Points for Interest Privilege, where members can use the points in place of interest and usage fees for loan transferred via bank accounts. For instance, for a transfer of 3,000 Baht, members can use only 700 points to be eligible for an interest-free period for one billing cycle or 1,350 points for the same privilege for two billing cycles.”
