In the occasion of H.M. the King’s 83rd birthday anniversary in the year 2010 and the 60th anniversary celebration of Royal marriage of H.M. the King and H. M. the Queen of Thailand in the year 2010, Thai Airways International PLC., Chiang Mai Ballet Academy and the Charity Committee have organized the 8th Charity Musical Dance Play “Sleeping Beauty 2010” at the Kad Theatre in Chiang Mai on Sunday, March 28th, 2010. Show times are 13.30 hrs. and 19.00 hrs.
Main principal casts are ballet dancers who received 1st prizes from many dance competitions from the 3 continents (New York, USA, Australia and Singapore, together with Celebrities from Chiang Mai and more than 300 students from the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. Celebrities are included Madam Shannon K. Morrow; Madam of the US Consulate General, Mr. Toby Allen, and Dr. Howard C. Graves Jr. etc. with Mom Luang Preeyapun Sridhavat, an Asia Pacific Inspired Woman Award in Art Category 2002 from Singapore as an Artistic Director.
Audiences will find joy from various style of dances i.e. classical ballet , modern, jazz, Latin dance, Hip Hop, Flamenco and will find pleasure in listening to the classical music of Tchaikovsky with songs from professional singer in this musical dance play.
