Renowned for its exceptional wine tastings, BarSu invites oenophiles to another memorable evening of fine wines, light bites and good company in chic surroundings.
On Tuesday March 2nd, BarSu and the Great Prestige Co., Ltd. will present a selection of engaging wines from Maison Rivi?re from Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux. Each label will be paired with an exquisite wapas dish specially created by our gifted chefs to compliment the wine.
Special guest Mr. Philippe Rivi?re, owner of Maison Riviere, will also be present to introduce his highly regarded wines and talk with wine lovers.
Maison Rivi?re owns several estates in the heart of Bordeaux. The family company has been recognised as a specialist of the classified vintages of Bordeaux since 1875 when Hector Rivi?re started a wine merchant business and purchased Ch?teau Gaubert, an estate in the Saint Emilion appellation. Today, vineyards include some of the region’s greatest appellations such as Margaux, Pauillac, Saint Est?phe, Pomerol, Saint Emilion, Pessac Leognan, and Sauternes.
The tasting will feature six refined wines including Menuts 2007 Bordeaux Blanc AOC, Grand Vin de Bordeaux and winner of a commendation in the Decanter 2009 World Wine Awards.
Guests will also be able to savour Cuv?e Prestige 2006 Ch?teau de Callac, Graves Blanc AOC, and Ch?teau Cheval Brun 2006, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru AOC, and other exceptional vintages.
