KASIKORNBANK launches value-added services of K-Global Money Transfer which will automatically send out transfer confirmation details via email and SMS. In addition, customers who registered with these value-added services are entitled to receive free international calls up to 5 hours. The special promotion is valid through May 31, 2010.
Mr. Songpol Chevapanyaroj, Executive Vice President, KASIKORNBANK, said KBank has continuously initiated new innovations to develop the Bank’s global fund transfer services in order to enhance customers’ convenience to the most. Recently, the Bank has launched value-added services of K-Global Money transfer which will automatically send out transfer confirmation details via email and SMS along with special promotions offering three-step privileges for customers who apply for the value-added services and do their first global funds transfer within the promotion period.
When customers transfer money from KBank accounts in Thailand to banks overseas, they will get a "Global Outward eAdvisory" which is a confirmation service of funds transfer to overseas banks, via an email indicating names of transferors who are in Thailand, currency, amount transferred, and execution dates.
Customers receiving money transferred from overseas to KBank accounts in Thailand will get a "Global Inward eReceipt", a confirmation of money transfer from overseas sent via email, and a "Global Inward Confirmation mAlert", a confirmation of money transfer from overseas sent via SMS. The transferor names will be indicated together with country of origin, banks performing the transfer, and funds arrival dates.
In addition, KBank has joined hands with Pay Network Co. Ltd., an international calling card (Toll D) provider, to launch special promotions for the New Year festival, offering three-step privileges for customers. For the first step, customers who apply for optional services of global funds transfer by March 31, 2010, and do their first global funds transfer by May 31, 2010, will be given up to 2 free hours of international calls.
For the second step, in addition to the first transaction, customers who do global funds transfer will get an additional hour of free international calls in every month that a funds transfer is made, until May 31, 2010. And for the last step, customers who do global funds transfer and buy more time or deposit more money in the Toll D prepaid international phone card will get an additional 10 percent of free international calls for the first purchase or deposit.
