Bangkok--15 Mar--AirAsia AirAsia assures its guests that the airline’s operations in Thailand remain normal but advises them to set off for the airport early to avoid delays on the road due to possible mass rallies and heavy traffic. Tassapon Bijleveld, chief executive officer of Thai AirAsia, said, “All AirAsia flights within and to and from Thailand go on as usual. We also continue to accept seat bookings through the usual channels. We encourage guests to come to the airport early and to avoid congested routes. Our guests’ safety and convenience are our priority, and we are closely monitoring the political situation in Thailand to ensure that we are able to respond to it in a way that is most beneficial to our guests.” AirAsia flies to and from 11 airports in Thailand. AirAsia seats may be booked on www.airasia.com; through the call centre at +662 515 9999; and through sales offices/counters at airports that AirAsia flies to, on Khaosan Road, and at Tesco Lotus branches in Bangkapi, Rama I, On Nuch and Lad Praw.
